The Oslo School of Architecture and Design
The Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO,Norwegian:Arkitektur- og designhøgskolen i Oslo) is located in Oslo, the capital of Norway. It was established in 1961 and is one of the three architectural institutes in Norway. The college now has about 600 students and 100 employees. Oslo Institute of architecture and design was born after World War II, when its architecture students failed to complete their studies because of the outbreak of war. Before that, the only school in Norway that could offer an architecture degree was the Norwegian Technical Institute (nth) in Trondheim.
